Utilities

The Town of Kersey provides water, wastewater, and trash services to the citizens. A $1 per month mosquito control fee is also assessed to help offset the mosquito control spraying during the summer months. All of these services are bundled together in one bill that is mailed to customers on or about the 21st of each month. Debit or credit card payments can be made over the phone or in person at Town Hall. We also offer online bill pay through the Xpress Bill Pay website. Payments can be mailed, dropped off in the east parking lot drop box or personally delivered to:

Trash Service

Trash service is provided by GSI-Republic Services. Please have trash toters in place early Tuesday mornings. They also offer recycling services every other week. Please contact Town Hall for a recycling schedule and list of items for recycling!

Electricity

Electric service is provided to the town by Xcel Energy.

Internet / TV Services

The town currently does not have a cable TV service. For internet service, Rise Broadband, Century Link in a very limited service area, and other satellite internet providers such as Exede.

Natural Gas

Atmos Energy provides natural gas services to the Town of Kersey.

Residential Trash Removal

The Town of Kersey has implemented the residential single service trash provider as allowed by state statute.

Water & Wastewater

The Town of Kersey purchases water from Cental Weld Water District and distributes it to the citizens through a gravity system utilizing the water tank.

Can I pay be utility bill online?
Yes, at the Xpress Bill Pay website. You just need your account number, your checking account or debit card information, and an email address.

What cable/TV service is in Kersey?
There is no cable TV provider that we are aware of. You need to contact Dish or DirectTV or antenna. Internet service is any satellite service such as Rise Broadband, Exede, or HughesNet.
What other utility companies will I need to contact when I purchase a home?
Electricity is provided by Xcel Energy, natural gas is provided by Atmos Energy. The Town of Kersey bills for water, sewer, and trash.
What day is the trash picked up?
Gallegos Sanitation picks up trash Tuesday morning of each week. They hope to offer a a recycling program if enough residents will sign up to participate. You need to contact them to register your address.

Are there any watering restrictions?
Not at this time however that can change at any time if there is a water shortage. We will give notice if restrictions would go into effect. At this time we ask that you do not water during the hot part of the day.
