Door-to-Door Solicitation

Door-to-door sales soliciting is permitted within the Town of Kersey if the salesperson has a Town of Kersey Sales Tax License. The salesperson must carry these, or a copy of them, on their person when conducting the soliciting. The hours allowed for door-to-door sales are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

If a residence has a "No Soliciting" sign or a "No Trespassing" sign, sales people are not allowed to approach the door at all.

Non-profit organizations are exempt from all these restrictions and requirements.
