POUND Fitness
Our POUND fitness class is taught by our recreation specialist, Kaylee Damrell, and in this class you become the music through an exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provided the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin' out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to men and women of all ages and abilities! Check out a glimpse at what you get with this class.
This class is 45 minutes long and the Ripstix® are provided but if you have a mat bring it with you (we will have a few available for use) and we have two chances each week for you to catch a POUND fitness class. Join us for our Tuesday morning session at 5:15am or the Thursday evening session at 5:30pm.
